Lyra Copper Mines, Inc. is a copper discovery company advancing projects from discovery stage toward production. Lyra is a sister company to Gold Express Mines, Inc. and Fermi Uranium Corp. Links to the sister companies can be found on the top menu under “Commodities.”

The Company has acquired its mineral properties by leasing and staking projects which consists primarily of unpatented mining claims. The claims are staked in accordance with the Mining Law of 1872, and in compliance with the mining laws of each state in which the claims are staked. The staking of such unpatented mining claims gives the Company the right to initially explore the claims through progressively more intensive means which are described in more detail below. Although the Company, under the mining laws, has the right of entry, the rights to explore and eventually to extract the underlying minerals, the paramount ownership of the land resides with the United States.
